Yes, it's true. I'm writing a book. I'm REALLY pumped about this.

So the idea was given to me by my editor, and well I fell in love with it. But then i was faced with a chalenge.

What to write about?

Well, what do I know better than Ancaria? Nothing. So that's what my book is about. It's based around a 16 year old boy Named Vance Ryder, which means thresher of grain who rides horses. Pretty for living in Florentina, where they are based off agriculture and meat processing.

Anyways, You remember the Seriphims, right? The Goddesses that everyone worships? Well yeah, thyose are a MAIN feature point. Including one of the two main characters (you'll never guess her name), Frenna. Shocker, I know. But she's MUCH different.

This Frenna has sandy blonde straight hair, and light blue eyes. Not that much different, but that's just her "human" form. Her Seriphim, or natural form, is much prettier. She has extremely pale skin, White curls that go down to her bellybutton, and bright violet eyes.

Amazing. But anyways, here is a sneak preveiw of all my hard work!

Chapter 1



I awoke to the normal sounds of morning floating in from my window.

"Good morning!"
"Wonderful weather 'tis it not?"

I yawned, stretching and getting out of my bed, shivering when my feet hit the cold wooden floor.

I pulled on my work shirt, glancing uneasily at the formal worship attire laying neat and pressed next to it. Worship. The word floated in and out of my head. How could I worship something I had never seen?

I quickly pulled on my pants, fastening the belt tightly to prevent then from falling lower than needed. I then exited my room, quietly closing the door behind me. The house was cold, filled with a swirling mass of frigid air that I just couldn't get used to. I made a promise to myself that I would remember to light the wood stove to provide some well needed heat.

Wandering into the second bedroom, I threw a quilt over my little sister, Vena, smiling at the way her features softened when she slept, how much younger she looked.

We all had dark hair, pale skin, and green eyes. Some of us took after our mother, her hair was almost black. my fathers was a dark brown, though not nearly as dark as my mothers. My hair was dark, nearly black against my pale oval face.

I was the eldest out of the six Ryder siblings. There was me, Vance, I was 16. Next came Viri , the eldest girl, who was 14. Then the twins, Vena and Vurl, the boy and girl duo who never went anywhere without eachother. They were both ten, Vurl exactly 9 minutes older than Vena. Vice was the youngest boy, at the age of 7, and then there was Viola. Viola was my little angel, the one I loved the most, although I loved all my siblings dearly. She managed to make my day's brighter, spending every second she could with me, trying so hard to be like me.
I was glad she had a role model, even If I wasn't the one she needed. What she needed was a father, but we all knew that would never happen. Our father and mother were both killed when I was 14, by wretched things called Orcs.

Orcs were like the mishap's of nature, as if the Seriphims got lazy creating more people, and just blended a large amount of parts together in attempted to make something worth while. The orcs tormented the cities, stronger than the humans, but completely incompetent.

Stepping out of the room, I slid down the banister into the kitchen. Our house was fairly small, Me being the only one who didn't share a room. I tried my best to support my brothers and sisters, knowing I was the only thing between their life and death.
